About Us 

Energy Virginia is the web site of the Coalition For Fair Energy Rates, a non-profit 501(c)6 organization consisting of industrial, commercial and retail businesses.

The organization was created to promote and support  the continuing economic development of Virginia through low cost energy. Energy that will keep current Virginia business competitive as well as attract new investments and jobs for the Commonwealth. 

We will advocate and consult with the Commonwealth's legislators, regulators, utilities and consumer groups to ensure that the least cost energy is available to all consumers.

Through Energy Virginia we will provide available information on legislative and regulatory activity affecting current and future impacts on energy costs.

Current officers of the Coalition For Fair Energy Rates are:

Patricia Bowles, Georgia Pacific, Sec/Treas.            

Expenses of the organization are borne by the industrial, commercial and retail business members of the coalition.
